More than 10,000 new designs by 200 brands from over 10 countries will be showcased during the Shanghai Design Week, held at the Shanghai Exhibition Center from Aug 31 to Sept 2.
Over 60 percent of the items on display are new designs and products making their debut at the three-day event, where the exhibits will cover culture, technology, fashion, art, cuisine and education.
Themed "Redefining the Future of Cities and Lives with Redesign", the event will also serve as a platform for nearly 100 designers, artists and opinion leaders from around the world to promote international cross-field and cross-industry cooperation through sideline forums and summits.
