The first batch of civil aviation projects aiming to attract private investment was released on Wednesday by the Civil Aviation Administration of China and the National Development and Reform Commission. A total of 28 projects were listed; investment into the projects is expected to total 110 billion yuan.

According to the list, the projects include airport construction, freight logistics, aircraft maintenance, aviation rescue, freight distribution by drones, and the development of new technology for the aviation industry.

According to the Civil Aviation Administration, the purpose of launching the private investment projects is to broaden the civil aviation sector's access to financing, and to invigorate development in the industry.
