Countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization should resolutely oppose external forces' interfering in their internal affairs under any pretext, President Xi Jinping said.

Xi made the remark when addressing the 20th Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization via video on Tuesday.

The SCO countries should firmly support relevant countries to advance their respective major domestic political agendas in a lawful, steady approach and staunchly support countries' efforts in maintaining political security and social stability, Xi added.
