Yin Tongyue said chip industry is an industrial ecosystem integrating technology, capital and talent.
He suggested the country should formulate a technological development outline for home grown car-mounted chips, clarify the development target and intensify construction on the chip industrial chain and supports for key entities and intellectual property protection.
He said an innovation platform for chip development should be set to support the industries of chips, components and finished automobiles from the perspectives of standards, regulations, talent and techniques.
He added the integration of the industry's ecosystem should be further deepened. Policy encouragement and supportive capital should be offered to the industrial supply chain ecosystem to drive their integration.
