Previously, some media outlets in the US had rated the country "No 1 in the world" for its pandemic response.
However, the facts show otherwise, according to an in-depth report by three think tanks in Beijing.
Titled "'America Ranked First'?! The Truth about America's Fight against COVID-19," the report exposed the US as a "failed country in fighting the pandemic".
