Zeng suggested that China should accelerate the development of the auto chip industry chain to ensure a stable supply. The measures include establishing an emergency reserve mechanism for chips and important raw materials and attracting foreign auto chip enterprises to launch projects in China. Zeng suggested establishing common technical specifications and standards for vehicle chips under the policy support and efforts of many parties. Zeng also proposed that China should establish third-party testing and certification platforms and set up a special fund to encourage chip enterprises and carmakers to focus on the research and development of auto chips.
