Vivienne Westwood hosts events to enhance its China connection

The British design brand Vivienne Westwood hosted events at its flagship boutiques in Beijing and Shanghai respectively on Nov 20 and Nov 22, featuring installations of runway showpieces and previews of the Vivienne Westwood Spring-Summer 2024 collection.
Andreas Kronthaler, the brand's creative director, attended the events, marking his first visit to the Chinese mainland in over a decade.
Following the brand's founder Vivienne Westwood's passing last December, Kronthaler as her life and work partner reviewed her wardrobe, among which he selected and reworked 39 outfits that now form the core of the Spring-Summer 2024 Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood collection.
