Ma Ying-jeou visits ancient Sichuan cities

Ma Ying-jeou, former chairman of the Chinese Kuomintang party, visited the Ancestral Temple of the Three Sus in the center of the city of Meishan, Southwest China's Sichuan province on Tuesday. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]

Ma is leading a group of about 20 Taiwan students on a journey to explore the history and culture of Sichuan and will leave for Taiwan on Thursday. The visit follows the group's participation in cross-Strait youth ice and snow activities in Harbin, Heilongjiang province. It's the third time that Ma has visited the mainland.
