Kenya will host Africa's first-ever artificial intelligence summit, staking its claim as a continental leader in tech innovation and a global hub for Kenyan creativity.

The Africa Artificial Intelligence Conference, or AIPAC 2025, will give an opportunity to Kenya's top Al entrepreneurs to connect with global venture capitalists and equity investors and put the East African country at the epicenter of global Al conversations.

Over 1,500 delegates, including business and corporate leaders, policymakers, scholars, innovators and researchers from across Africa and the globe, will engage in high-level discussions to forge public-private Al partnerships.

Director and Chairman of the AIPAC 2025 Secretariat Harun Katusya said the delegates will collaborate on co-creating national Al strategies, shaping ethical frameworks, unlocking investments and celebrating African talent and innovation in Al.

"AIPAC 2025 offers Kenya a unique opportunity for investor-startup matchmaking to drive capital investments into Al enterprises," he said in a statement.

"This is more than a conference, it is a platform to shape Africa's Al future and open global doors for Kenyan ingenuity."

Scholars and practitioners with input from delegates will draft key policy recommendations and develop cross-border talent development pacts.

The historic gathering will also open doors for Kenyan universities and research institutions to tap into international AI research and development opportunities.

"This pioneering event is a pivotal step in aligning Africa's Al ambitions with global standards and trends," Katusya said.

"It will not only cement Kenya's position as Africa's Al hub but also provide Kenyan authorities and institutions with a vital platform to influence and shape global Al conversations," he added.
