Nearly 30,000 music fans from across China gathered in Tianjin over the weekend for the 2025 Mango Music Festival Bohai Rim stop.

According to official figures, three-quarters of the audience traveled from outside the municipality. People aged 18 to 34 accounted for more than 80 percent of festivalgoers.

According to Wu Fan, chief director of the 2025 Bohai Rim stop, Dongjiang was selected for this year's festival based on its beautiful coastline, modern port views, and experience in hosting large-scale events.

The event partnered with multiple local attractions to generate additional revenue. Su Di, deputy head of the Culture and Tourism Bureau of Tianjin Dongjiang Comprehensive Bonded Zone, cited data showing that each yuan spent on a festival ticket generates four to five more yuan in related consumption.
