Futian as a fashion base

Shenzhen, one of the largest economic powerhouses in South China, is composed of nine administrative districts and one new area, each with its own distinct character.

Located in the heart of Shenzhen, Futian district is emerging as a strategic driver of China's fashion industry. In 2024, the added value of the fashion industry accounted for 15 percent of regional GDP, with over 1,700 significant enterprises generating more than 524 billion yuan ($73.59 billion) in annual revenue.

Today, Futian has transcended its role as a center for business and corporate headquarters to establish itself as a true incubator of cultural and creative projects, as well as a high-level platform at the intersection of design, technology, and commerce.
