Multiple injured rescued after factory explosion in China's Baotou

An explosion occurred at the sub-factory of the Inner Mongolia Baotou Steel Union Co Ltd in Erjiahai village, Jiuyuan district, Baotou city, at 3:05 pm on Sunday. Following the incident, multiple emergency response teams, including fire, police, and medical personnel, were swiftly deployed to the scene along with specialized rescue equipment to conduct extensive rescue operations.
As of 3:55 pm, five injured individuals had been rescued, CCTV reported, citing local authorities. Rescue efforts are ongoing, with firefighters and emergency responders continuing their work at the site.
