From Beijing's history to Shenzhen's dynamism and Chengdu's pandas, he says cycling offers a unique way to explore the country's diversity and charm.

Riding through cities, meeting locals and discovering hidden streets, food and culture along the way, after more than 20 years of visiting China, Butler-Adams says he is still learning — and still coming back for more.
