Meitu's revenue grows 28.8% in 2025
Chinese selfie-enhancing internet company Meitu generated 3.86 billion yuan ($558.3 million) in revenue last year, up 28.8 percent year-on-year. Meitu recorded an adjusted net profit attributable to the parent company of 965 million yuan, an increase of 64.7 percent year-on-year, according to the company's financial report. The company, headquartered in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province, attributed this growth mainly to the integration of artificial intelligence into its product matrix and its rapid expansion, which has significantly increased the number of its global paid subscribers, and led to a speedy increase in the revenue of its core business of imaging and design products.
Digital map to label railway equipment
Chinese railway workers have developed innovative methods to label remote trackside equipment. The Taiyuan North Rolling Stock Depot is in charge of monitoring over 100 trackside vehicle-monitoring equipment on 11 railway lines within the jurisdiction of China Railway Taiyuan Group. As some spots do not have official names, these equipment cannot be located using ordinary navigational tools. Therefore, staff members from its dynamic monitoring workshop collected coordinates, took on-site photos and labeled 66 remote and unclear spots one after another, putting them on a digital map, and making them easier to access.
