To honor the spirit of scientists, promote academic exchange, and inspire technological innovation, the awarding ceremony of the fourth Shanghai Jiao Tong University Foresight Science and Technology Award took place at the university on Monday as part of the university's 130th anniversary celebrations.

Established in 2022, the award recognizes university affiliates worldwide who have made outstanding contributions in the fields of basic research, applied research, and scientific frontier exploration.

The event featured a star-studded red carpet, with academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, representatives from institutions and enterprises, alumni who are business leaders, and representatives from partner primary and elementary schools walking the red carpet.
