OI Time Land, a Suzhou, Jiangsu province-based manufacturer of smart healthcare devices, debuted at the 139th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, as it steps up overseas expansion to tap rising global demand for aging-related care.

The Chinese company plans to prioritize Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, as well as Europe and North America, as rapidly aging populations and rising awareness of preventive healthcare drive demand for smart wellness solutions.

Liu Fengyi, president of OI Time Land, said these markets share strong demand fundamentals and higher adoption of smart technologies, aligning closely with the company's positioning in all-age smart healthcare.

Established in 2025, OI Time Land offers products, including AI-powered mattresses, smart monitoring terminals and companion robots.

Liu said healthy aging is a global challenge, with demand for technology-enabled care solutions set to grow across regions.

In response, OI Time Land has already begun early-stage market entry in Japan, South Korea and parts of Southeast Asia, and is using the ongoing Canton Fair to deepen ties with overseas partners as it expands abroad.

Backed by the broader technology ecosystem of its partner Dreame Technology, a Chinese household appliance manufacturer operating in more than 100 countries and regions, Liu said the company is leveraging capabilities in AI algorithms and smart sensing to develop integrated home-based healthcare solutions.

"We will maintain core product performance while tailoring applications to local living habits, regulatory requirements and certification standards to support our global expansion," she added.

By building a networked, home-based system that links multiple devices and scenarios, OI Time Land aims to embed healthcare monitoring into daily routines, shifting healthcare from an add-on to a continuous service.

Nie Pingxiang, a researcher specializing in trade in services at the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation in Beijing, said the expansion of Chinese firms in smart healthcare reflects a broader shift in global services, with technology-driven models improving access and efficiency as aging populations reshape demand patterns across major economies.
