Country Garden, a Chinese property tycoon listed on Hong Kong Stock Exchange, takes the crown of the best real estate company in the first half of this year, with its sales reaching 284.22 billion yuan ($41.78 billion), according to data from Shanghai-based CRIC, a real estate information services provider.

Vanke and Evergrande, two of China's largest property developers, are ranked second and third.
