residential designer selected as "one of the world's most outstanding
designers." This prestigious design award group includes such architects and
design icons as IM Pei, Richard Meyer and Robert Venturi.
A recipient of the Women in Design International Achievement Award in Paris
for both environmental architecture and interior design, Chang served two terms
as co-president of Design International, a US-based professional organization
representing members from more than 21 different fields of design.
Chang is also a high-tech business leader, television personality, and the
host and creator of acclaimed TV series The Art of Living. This programme was
shown on Time Warner Cable in the United States and weekly on Beijing TV via
satellite to nearly 100 million viewers.
Chang's strong relationship with the Chinese media has helped her company
bring National Geographic to China. She introduced its television programming to
China Central Television, including over 1,000 affiliated stations.
Chang's business acumen is also well respected on Wall Street, where she
serves as chief executive officer of the publicly traded international
marketing, multimedia and technology innovator International Telecommunications
Inc.
"I hope to introduce more environmentally friendly, high-tech projects to
China in the future," she says.
