Motorcycle output hits 19.24m units, sales top 19.05m

The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers statistics show that the country's motorcycle production and sales topped 19.24 million and 19.05 million units in the first 11 months of this year, an increase of 21.79 and 20.70 percent year on year respectively.

In November alone, motorcycle production rose 7.94 percent to 1,917,600 units, while sales surged by 4.89 percent to 1,887,400 units.

The top five motorcycle manufacturers in terms of sales in November were Guangdong Province-based Grand River Group, Chongqing Municipality-based Loncin Holdings Ltd, Jialing Group and Jianshe Motorcycle Co Ltd, and Zhejiang Province-based Qianjiang Motorcycle Co Ltd.
