QFII funds realize lower returns in March

Qualified foreign institutional investors (QFII) A-share fund performance was poorer than domestic equity investment mutual funds in March. The eight QFII funds in Lipper statistics, calculated in renminbi, had an accumulated return of 76.59 percent for the last six months, lower than domestic funds by 2.44 percent.

The total assets under management of QFII funds reached a historic high US$5.527 billion in March.
