Donations to quake-hit regions rise to 21.4b yuan

As of Thursday noon, donations from home and abroad to China's quake-hit regions had reached 21.4 billion yuan ($3 billion), up 5.4 billion yuan from the previous day, according to the Information Office of State Council.

So far, 1.9 billion yuan had been forwarded to the earthquake-affected areas, the office said.
