Mainland-Taiwan direct shipping launched

Taiwan leader Ma Ying-Jeou started a speech at a ceremony in Kaosiung Port at 10:00 a.m. (2:00 GMT), kicking off the direct shipping service from Taiwan to the Chinese mainland.
