China aims for 17% growth in money supply in 09

China will increase the broad money supply by about 17 percent this year and grant over 5 trillion yuan in new loans, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao said in a report at the opening meeting of the annual full session of the National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature.
