HONG KONG - Hong Kong stocks closed down 243.12 points, or 1.36 percent, at 17,668.83 on Sept 23.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 17,373.41 and 17,813.57. Turnover totaled HK$97.12 billion ($12.45 billion).
