Gas outburst kills six in C.China coal mine

Relatives of trapped miners grieve while waiting for information
outside a coal mine in Lianyuan, Central China's Hunan Province December 3,
2006. Fifteen miners worked underground as a gas outburst accident took place at
1 p.m. on Sunday, leaving six dead and six trapped. The local government is
guiding the rescue work and the cause of the accident is under investigation.
