Firefighters rescue girl from house fire(China Daily)Updated: 2006-12-26 09:17 Firefighters pulled a 16-year-old girl suffering smoke inhalation from a house fire last week. The fire was caused by her superstitious mother, who burnt incense and candles in their home all day, every day. Some neighbours said they had considered moving out of the building because of the fire safety hazard created by the woman's rituals. (Wen Wei Po) |
