Rural woman writes novel to inspire her children

A rural woman in Shangluo, Shaanxi province, wanted to be a role model for her children so she wrote a novel.

Zhao Wenfeng, 43, a farmer in Longshan village, spent just a year in school but she's trying hard to inspire her 18-year-old son and 15-year-old daughter to do their best.

After two years of hard work, Zhao finished several articles that were published in local magazines, and she completed a 150,000-word novel that may be published.
