New routes launched for Zhanjiang Airport

Air routes linking Zhanjiang, a port city in Guangdong province, and Chongqing, Hong Kong, Haikou and Kunming were launched last month, boosting the routes Zhanjiang Airport services to 13.
Throughput at the airport is expected to reach 700,000 passengers this year, reported Southern Metropolis Daily, citing the Guangdong Airport Authority.
The Zhanjiang Airport Company plans to expand its annual passenger throughput to about 1 million in one to two years.
