Beijing has shown its determination to discourage smoking by implementing new regulations.

Smoking indoors and outdoors at kindergartens, schools and children’s hospitals where the majority are under-age is banned together with sports stadiums. People are barred from smoking in a queue with a 50 yuan ($8.33) to 200 yuan fine the punishments.
