Xi calls for ruling country based on law, virtue

BEIJING -- Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, has called for ruling the country based on both law and virtue.
Xi made the remarks Friday at a group study attended by members of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee.
