Professor's suit covers students' exercise books in the rain

A teacher showed by example what it means to be responsible and conscientious to your students.

On a rainy day, Shi Danlin, a teacher from the City College of Wuhan University of Science and Technology in Central China's Wuhan city, took off his suit coat to cover his students' exercise books and walked in the rain in his shirt.

A teacher walking behind Shi captured the moment with his phone and posted the picture on China's Twitter-like service, Sina Weibo.

The post immediately got more than 4,000 likes, praising Shi as a respected, good teacher.

After students told him about his photo, Shi said it would be terrible if the exercise books of the students in his two classes all got wet.

As for students' praise, Shi said it has always been his professional habit to take good care of students' exercise books.
