One of China' s new opening-up and cooperation strategies is the construction of a 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, which is in line with the deepening of cooperation between China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said the strategy can usher bilateral cooperation into a new "diamond" decade.

Constructing the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road is another opportunity for Qinzhou after the central government approved the development of the Beibu Gulf as a national project.
