Switzerland-based Sonova Group, the manufacturer of innovative hearing care solutions, has raised and donated more than 1 million yuan ($149,000) to the China Foundation for Disabled Persons through its recent charity run event in Shanghai.

The charity run was organized by Sonova to advocate more social attention and care for people with hearing disabilities and to improve the lives of those with hearing loss through the use of advanced hearing technology.

The group said the money collected through the charity run will be used for the China Foundation for Disabled Persons' support programs for hearing loss sufferers.
