Chinese actress Tang Wei is seen in a scene in Ann Hui's upcoming film "The Golden Era". Tang Wei plays the lead role as the 1930s author Xiao Hong, one of the most important female writers in contemporary China. The film also stars Feng Shaofeng, Wang Qianyuan and Hao Lei, as well as 30 or more celebrities who volunteered to take on cameo roles with little or no payment, according to producer Qin Hong.
