While the 11th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair is attracting attention from the public worldwide, Heilongjiang's business potential was highlighted at a promotion event this week. The Heilongjiang Cultural Industry Key Projects Promotion and Signing Event was held in Shenzhen on May 15. Up to 27 cultural projects were signed at the fair, worth more than 17 billion yuan ($2.73 billion) .

"Heilongjiang has rich cultural resources, with its long history and diversified cultures of ethnic minorities，" said Zhao Dexing, vice minister of the Press Department of Heilongjiang Provincial Party Committee. He stressed that the 'iron-man' and pioneering spirit of the region paved the way for its cultural industry development.

This is the ninth time that Heilongjiang delegates have participated in the ICIF. Themed with "Sino-Russia bridgehead", Heilongjiang has staged a distinguished exhibition featuring its cultural tourism, technology, fashion industry and various artworks.
