Traffic accident kills 9 in Fujian

A bus carrying about 30 passengers overturned and fell into a 10-meter-deep roadside ditch along the Fujian section of Shenyang-Haikou Highway, killing 9 people and injuring 25 on Tuesday around noon, China National Radio's website reported.

All injured passengers have been sent to local hospitals.

The bus was traveling from Ningede to Funan. Both places are in East China's Fujian Province. The reason for the accident is still unknown.
