Official dismisses ban on Tibet travel

LHASA: There are no restrictions on foreigners' travel to Tibet during the National Day holiday season, Wang Songping, deputy chief of the regional tourism agency, said yesterday. He said rumors of Tibet imposing restrictions on foreigners' travel to Tibet were "untrue".
