Space flight dream has come true

With a glaring light, the
first manned spacecraft Shenzhou V of China blasted off from Jiuquan Satellite
Launch Center and the first Taikonaut of China started the trip to the outer
space. At that time, the dream of flight to the outer space of Chinese has come
true. The flight makes China the third country in the world to launch a manned
spacecraft. The flight is a historic step of the Chinese people in their journey
to the top of the world's science and technology.
Centuries ago, it was the Chinese who first invented the ancient rocket and
came up with the idea to sent human into space with the power of rocket…. Since
the establishment of the PRC in 1949, depending on their own strength and
wisdom, the Chinese have made outstanding achievements on developing space
science and technology. For centuries, although it was a long journey, the
Chinese dream of space flight was inherited and passed on. Finally, the dream
came true today!
The realization of the space flight dream demonstrated the capability of our
science and technology and lifted our national strength. In history, China has
experienced shining days with her leading science and technology power in the
world and rainy days because of the lagged science and technology. Today's China
is even greater not only because of her long history but because of her
intelligence to speed up the development of science and technology in light of
the reality. All the achievements, from atomic energy, jet plane, semiconductor,
computer and automatic control to the cutting-edge science and technology of
national defense, best presented by the success of atom bomb, hydrogen bomb and
artificial satellite, and from the blasting off of the first manned spacecraft
Shenzhou V to the operating of the first high-performance computer system
demonstrated China's mighty power of science and technology. As a prominent
representative of the first productive force, the launch of the manned
spacecraft shows that China has made the list of leaders in several high-tech
fields in the world. The Chinese people today can proudly claim that we have
possessed powerful scientific and technological strength and we are on the way
to the world's science and technology power kingdom.

in the cause of space flight and encourage the successors to surpass them. The
success of the space flight shows that in order to implement the policy of
