Jilin Municipal Intermediate People's Court sentenced Wang Chun, former deputy secretary-general of Jilin Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), to 18 years in prison for receiving bribes.

Wang allegedly took about 1.7 million yuan (US$205,658)of bribes and owns about 2.05 million yuan (US$247,695) of possession which he could not account for.
