Archaeologists repair a terracotta portrait discovered in the prehistoric site of Hongshan Culture in Aohanqi, north China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, July 3, 2012. A 0.55-meter terracotta portrait was unearthed during a survey by archaeologists from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Aohanqi Museum. The portrait is expected to be the king of the late Hongshan Culture period which dates back to 3290 BC.[Photo/Xinhua] |
