On April 9, Liu Shijin, vice minister of Development Research Center, met with a delegation from Sudan led by Mr. Ahmed Saad Omer, the Minister of Cabinet.

Both sides exchanged views on Sudanese economic and social development, Chinese aid and investment to Sudan and strengthening the communication of think tanks between the two countries.

Those present at the meeting were Mr. Omer Eisa Ahmed, Ambassador of Sudan, Mr. Cheng Guoqiang, director general of the International Cooperation Department of DRC and Mr. Zhao Jinping, director general of Department of Foreign Economic Relations of DRC.

DRC and the visiting delegation from Sudan hold discussions about the economic and social development of Sudan and China's economic aid to and investment in Sudan.
