Baotou strengthens ties with innovation platform

Representatives of more than 1,300 companies and around 200 entrepreneurs took part in an Internet Plus conference themed around innovation and entrepreneurship which opened at Baotou International Convention Center on June 10, according to people.com.cn.

The conference, highlighting cooperation between zbj.com, an online platform provider in China, and Baotou, consisted of four parts including a development summit, an industry forum and exhibitions.

Present at the conference were industry leaders and experts including Li Shuangyan, an internet investor involved with zbj.com.

Based in Chongqing in southwest China, zbj.com is one of the largest innovation and entrepreneurship platforms in China. With a cooperation agreement signed on May 22 between Baotou and the platform operator, zbj.com will help with the technological innovation and transformation of small and medium-sized companies based in Baotou.

The two will cooperate on an innovation and entrepreneurship demonstration park to be established in the city. The park, covering more than 20,000 square meters, will feature the application of internet plus technologies in areas such as advertising, finance and education.
