Typhoon Molave causes 36.9 million yuan loss to Guangxi

Typhoon Molave caused 36.9 million yuan worth of damages, caused about 400 buildings to collapse, and destroyed about 7,750 hectares of corn as it passed through the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, affecting hundreds of thousands of people across the province, the region’s Bureau of Civil Affairs said yesterday. Molave has since been downgraded to a tropical low pressure system as it moves west over Yunan Province.
