Nederlands Dans Theater 1 is one of the world's leading contemporary dance companies, under the artistic guidance of Paul Lightfoot. The Dutch troupe is based in The Hague, but has performed for thousands in Europe as well as in the US, Asia and Australia. Since its founding in 1959, the company has built a rich repertoire of 600 ballets by master choreographers Jirí Kylián and Hans van Manen and others.
