SEOUL - The Republic of?Korea's unification ministry denounced the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on Monday for its "inappropriate" remarks on President Park Geun-hye.

"North Korea (DPRK) criticized (South Korean) President Park in May, citing the president's real name. And, (the DPRK) today?once again criticized the president in the same way," Kim Hyung-suk, spokesman at the Ministry of Unification in charge of inter-Korean relations told reporters at a briefing.

Kim condemned the DPRK's manners, expressing deep regrets over Pyongyang's "very inappropriate" verbal expressions and remarks toward the ROK's head of the state.

His comments came after spokesman of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea (CPRK) lashed out on Monday against President Park Geun-hye's speech made during her four-day visit to China.

Park said at China's Tsinghua University on Saturday that Seoul would provide aggressive support for Pyongyang if "North Korea gives up its nuclear program and becomes a responsible member of international community".

"It is just a silly dream (for South Korea) to entice the aid of foreign powers and disarm us in order to change our regime through the anti-DPRK international cooperation. We are watching Park Geun-hye with the last remaining patience," the CPRK spokesman said through the DPRK's Korea Central News Agency.
