Both the attorney for basketball star Yao Ming and the lawyer for Coca-Cola yesterday presented arguments to the Xuhui District People's Court in Shanghai where Yao filed a lawsuit against the beverage giant for using his image. He is asking for a public apology and one yuan (US$0.12) in compensation. The court didn't announce when the first hearing will be held, but both parties expressed interest in a settlement.
