Lamar Odom had 21 points and 11 rebounds, and Eddie Jones scored 20 points to lead the Miami Heat to their first road win this season with a 105-98 victory over the Seattle SuperSonics on Tuesday night.

Dwyane Wade had 18 points, five rebounds, five assists and four steals for the Heat (3-8), who trailed 81-76 early in the final period before finishing the game on a 29-17 run behind Jones' nine fourth-quarter points.

Ronald "Flip" Murray scored a career-high 31 points and Rashard Lewis added 16 for Seattle (6-3), which dropped to 2-2 at home.

Murray scored 20 or more points for the eighth time in nine games since taking over as the starting shooting guard in place of injured Ray Allen.

Miami improved to 1-6 on the road.

Seattle tied its biggest lead of five points at 11:12 in the fourth on Jerome James' layup to make it 81-76.

That's when Miami made its move.

Back-to-back baskets by Jones gave Miami a 93-90 lead with 5:00 left. A putback by Brian Grant and John Wallace's jumper made it 97-90 with 3:30 to play. Odom stretched the lead to 99-91 with a jumper as the shot clock expired with 2:47 to go.

Murray tried to bring Seattle back, scoring five points in the final two minutes. His runner with 22 seconds cut Miami's lead to 102-98.

But the Heat sealed the win with two free throws by Jones and one by Rafer Alston.

The first half was sloppy, as the teams combined for 22 turnovers. Miami shot 6-of-7 in the opening minutes to take a 17-12 lead. Seattle kept pace by hitting five 3-pointers in the first eight minutes.

Murray had 11 points at halftime, and Lewis added eight for Seattle. Wade had 10 at the break for Miami, and Udonis Haslem had eight.
