Nicole turns Michael down for date

opposites attract, but apparently fans are going to have to live without seeing
Oscar-winning Nicole Kidman walking down the red carpet with King of Pop,
Michael Jackson.
Divorcee Nicole, who recently split from rocker Lenny Kravitz, has revealed
that she turned down Michael's offer to accompany her to the upcoming MTV Music
Awards bash.
"There was a call from his people to mine asking if he could take me to the
Awards," the Daily Mirror quotes the film star as saying in a radio interview.
"I had never even met him, it was a little strange. I did decline, but hey, the
way my love life is, I took it as a great compliment."
The fashion-conscious star admits that some of Michael's past sartorial
choices contributed to her decision to turn down the invitation. "I keep
thinking of those ridiculous photographs of Michael in a shocking wig at
Disneyland," she said, adding: "So call me crazy but it just didn't tempt me to
want to accept."
