More fund for the winners at Olympics

The Chinese government will give 200,000 yuan (US$14,000) for the gold medal winners, 120,000 yuan for the silver medal winners, and 80,000 for the copper medal winners.

Winners from number 4 to number 8 will also get the prize 50 percent more than the Sydney Olympics.

At the Sydney Olympics, gold medal winners got a prize of 150,000 yuan, silver medal winners 80,000 yuan and the copper medal winners 50,000 yuan.
