Lakers place Divac on injured list
The Los Angeles Lakers placed center Vlade Divac on the injured list due to a sore back and activated forward Brian Grant on Wednesday.
Divac began the season on the injured list with a herniated disk in his lower back and missed the first 11 games. He has played in just eight games since, averaging 0.8 points and 1.1 rebounds.
Grant, placed on the injured list on Nov. 23 with tendinitis in his right knee, is averaging 4.5 points and 3.3 rebounds in 11 games this season. |
